IELTS: Tests the complete range of English language skills which will be commonly encountered by students when studying in the medium of English. There are four modules in IELTS

GRE The GRE Test(Graduate Record Exam) is the standardized test used to get admissions in various graduate schools or business graduate schools in various English speaking countries, especially the United States. More than 600,000 prospective graduate school applicants from approximately 160 countries take the GRE General Test at 700 test centers.
GRE test format: Computer-based test is the most commonly used GRE test format. However, paper-based format is available at test centres where Computer-based GRE test is not there.
About GRE Test: The GRE revised General Test, introduced in August 2011, has three sections: Verbal Reasoning; Quantitative Reasoning and Analytical Writing. Calculators are allowed. Total test time is 3-hours, not including the research section.

GRE Score: Three scores are reported: Verbal Reasoning on a 130–170 score scale, in 1-point increments; Quantitative Reasoning also on a 130–170 score scale with 1-point increment and Analytical Writing score on a 0–6 score level, in half-point increments. Official scores are mailed in 10–15 days after your test date.
Validity of GRE: GRE scores are valid for 5 years. One can request a rescore up to 3 months after your test date.
Remarks: GRE reflects the kind of thinking one would do in graduate or business school so as to demonstrate your readiness for graduate-level work.
GMAT The Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test which assesses a person’s analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills in standard written English. This test is taken in preparation for being admitted into a graduate management program, such as MBA and Masters in Finance related courses. GMAT scores are accepted by over 1,500 universities and institutes in countries like US, Canada, Australia, UK, Germany, Malaysia etc. for as many as 5,400 programs. The GMAT exam is a computer adaptive test and not a computer based test, which means that the candidate will get one question at a time and depending on the accuracy of the previous answer, the difficulty level of the next question will be ascertained.
GMAT is a management entrance exam conducted round the year where the candidates have the flexibility to take the exam on any day depending on the availability and time slot. GMAT is an entrance exam which is conducted over a time period of 3 hours 30 minutes. In the year 2012-13 a total of 238,356 GMAT exams were administered, with 675,733 score reports sent to nearly 5,600 graduate-level management programs around the world.
GMAT Eligibility : There are no specific GMAT eligibility criteria. The candidates should have attained the age of 18 years. The respective institutes may have a different eligibility criteria but GMAC has no specific selection criterion.
GMAT Registration : The candidates have the liberty of giving the exam anytime in the year as per their convenience. The important thing to note is that the candidates can reschedule their next attempt only after 31 days of taking the first attempt. A candidate is only allowed five attempts in one year.
GMAT Fees The application fee for GMAT is $250, which would roughly translate to Rs 15,000-16,000 approximately.
